According to the Serbian governments decision, adopted on June 15, 2006, our institution was renamed to the Specialized Hospital for rehabilitation and orthopedic prosthetics. Under its former name, The Institute of Prosthetics, it was well-known all over ex-Yugoslavia, as well as abroad. The Institute was founded as far back as 1954, with the aim to provide assistance in prosthetic rehabilitation of the World War II victims. Today, Specialized Hospital is a modern facility for prosthetic and orthotic rehabilitation, one of its kind in the territory of Serbia. We endeavor to follow world trends applying the latest technological achievements, using new materials and procedures in diagnostics and rehabilitation.

When thinking about the concept of our site, we were driven by the desire to provide you with basic information on our institution, present you our long-standing work, as well as to inform you on future plans for expanding our scope of work and advancement of assortment of services that we offer to our patients.
